School Action Groups
FACE would love to help you set up a group at your school…
From planting trees to installing solar panels, starting walk-to-school buses, or ditching plastics,
Schools are Amazing places for Climate Action.
But teachers are exceptionally busy people, and we can’t expect the children to shoulder all the hard work. Schools need the support of families and the community to make change happen.
This is where our action groups come in. They bring together parents, families, school staff and local residents, to help do the leg work to get their local school on the path to net zero, and provide learning opportunities for children along the way.
They also provide a forum for climate action that goes beyond the school gates.
*More about school being heart of community, raising awareness within that community?
Our groups work alongside our sister organisation, the Schools Climate Network, to share ideas, resources and people power.

FACE would love to help you set up a group in your local school. We can organise welcome meetings and get you off the ground in a way that suits you. Equally, if you already have an action group in your school, we would love for you to be part of our network. We can keep you in the loop with the latest news and campaigns, point you in the direction of support and resources, and most importantly bring people together to push for change.
Like the sound of that?
